The Patient and Post-Acute Care business category is responsible for a portfolio with current annual turnover exceeding 7 Billion SEK. We want to be the globally leading provider of healthcare solutions for people affected by reduced mobility within both Acute and Post-Acute care segments. Our products and solutions are sold worldwide and our organization is currently based in Europe, North America and Asia.

The position
In this position you will be overall responsible for developing the global marketing and portfolio strategy for the Getinge Group Post-Acute Care segment globally, a multi-Billion SEK portfolio for Getinge Group.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Together with a small and highly competent team of upstream marketeers manage and develop the business strategy for products and solutions addressing the Post-Acute Care segment
• Collaborate with Health Economics & Clinical Affairs staff to understand clinical trends and assess viable products/programs/solutions
• Understand in-depth the relevant and commercially addressable challenges of the Post-Acute Care Segment including customer behaviors, key needs, financial trends, main competitors, etc.
• Conduct and coordinate customer research, market research, concept evaluations etc. and from this distill strategic plans for the Post-Acute Care segment in conjunction with the Global Solutions Management, R&D, Regional sales and other stakeholders
• Ideate and kick off the development of new products, including the formulation of the strategy for penetrating new markets or strategic areas
• Develop and/or enhance global relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, Payers, C Suites and influential customers.
• Provide analysis on next generation technologies in terms of their fit to the overall business strategy.

The position is ideally based in Malmö, Sweden but for the right candidate it can also be based in San Antonio, TX. Since you will have a global scope, you should expect international travel, average 50% on an annual basis.

The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have minimum 7-10 years of experience working on a strategic level with global upstream marketing in a relevant Med-tech company. You have an in-depth understanding of the Post-Acute Care segment from multiple markets, ideally in a role with a truly global scope.

Some of your key characteristics include:
• 5+ year marketing experience with budget management responsibility (revenues & expenses) with a heavy emphasis on areas above, lifecycle management, product development, portfolio planning, market research, market strategy, market segmentation, positioning, value proposition and targeting.
• 5+ years managing people and teams; proven track record managing, mentoring, developing and growing employees
• Experience and proven success record launching new, innovative products and solutions in the Health Care setting on a global or multi-country basis requiring behavior change in clinical practice, market development and market access (inclusive of payment models).
• FDA and international regulatory approval knowledge in the areas of medical equipment and devices.
• Experience working strategically and conceptually with market and customer segmentation including a successful track record of achievement in developing marketing and sales strategies to optimize existing product market penetration, introduce new products and capitalize on opportunities.
• Demonstrated strong ability to blend the clinical and health care financial productivity science with the commercial needs to develop cutting edge positioning strategies.
As a person you have excellent leadership and communications skills that enable you to work effectively in a matrix environment. You are able to communicate complex issues in an understandable way and thereby act as a segment champion across the organization. In addition to this, you have a high degree of creativity and intelligence that allows you to effectively distill complex problems and generate innovative solutions in a fast-paced global environment.
