If you have managed people and projects within cell design in a private company setting, this opportunity as a Senior Director of Advanced Materials is for you.
Key responsibilities
Developing advanced lithium-ion battery cells for Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles and other applications.
Expertise for liquid & all solid-state lithium-ion battery cells.
Micro structural designing for lithium-ion battery cells.
Characterization and testing for lithium-ion battery cells.
You will be in charge of setting up and executing the long term R&D plans reporting to the CTO.
R&D strategy planning, budgeting, and executing according to the company objectives.
Personally invest in creating an inclusive, collaborative working environment with teammates from all over the globe. Help onboard new teammates with clear communication, shared goals, and mutual trust.
Education and experience
A relevant university degree in chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering is required.
10+ years of R&D experience within the battery industry preferably from a private company.
Has participated in large-scale R&D projects involving technical depth across multiple disciplines.
Specific skills
Excellent English written and oral skills. Swedish is a plus.
Eager to learn and understand our large-scale production processes.
Highly organized and results-driven. Proactive in solving problems and anticipating setbacks.
Brings a "can do" attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit to day-to-day work.
Open to travel.
