We are now looking for a Senior Director E/E & Vehicle Motion!
Description
The E/E & Vehicle motion department is responsible for research and development of software, components and systems to fulfill vehicle motion and thermal management functionality requirements on complete vehicle level. These components and systems include all chassi systems (suspension, steering, driveline and braking), powertrain systems (e-machines, power electronics, transmissions, power generation and PTI), heating ventilation, Airconditioning and Cooling systems.
Software development focus includes vehicle dynamics control, advanced driver assistance and automated driving.
The department also covers the responsibility for E/E development of HW & SW on complete vehicle level.
The Senior Director E/E & Vehicle Motion will report to Vice President Engineering & Product development and play an important part in the Engineering & Product development Management team.
Together with the rest of the team you will develop the future strategies for Engineering and Product development.
Your ability to lead and engage the employees within the E/E & Vehicle motion department will have a significant impact on the future success of the function as well as the company.
The role involves:
- Strategic planning of E/E & Vehicle motion technology capability and roll-out
- Definition and maintenance of engineering and development processes in the E/E & Vehicle motion domain
- E/E & Vehicle motion department budget
- Human resource management within E/E & Vehicle motion
- Coaching and motivating the E/E & Vehicle motion leadership team.
- Maintaining an international network with strategic suppliers and partners to E/E & Vehicle motion department.
- External communication with respect to department technology
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 years of relevant engineering and experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
- Driver license "B"

- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle motion.
- Be a great leader.
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have excellent automotive industry knowledge.
- Ability to plan and prioritize.
