What you'll do
In the role you will lead the Global Operations programme office and oversee all project delivery and the workstreams, governance, synchronisation, alliance management, change and communications for our Global Smart Operations Network Strategy. You are accountable for establishing the Global Smart Operations transformation programme that has oversight of all workstreams and projects in scope with Operations Network and Digital Programs. Further, you will lead the programme delivery and strategy execution, in alignment with Operations, IT and other SET digital integration strategies.
The role includes to coordinate Operations digital networks, so they are up to date and efficient - that they're linked, tracked and deliver to our overall plans. This also means driving digital (business) process standards, realization metrics to ensure right processes are enabled by the right tools at the right time and cost. All in support of customer service, quality, objectives delivery and ensuring appropriate change management plans are in place to support.
This is an outstanding opportunity to influence a large scale Operations organization! The chance to be responsible for delivering value and growth by driving our Smart Operations Digital transformation to the next maturity level and our Operations capability to LEAN Top Quartile. This is a Senior Programme Leadership position with responsibility of delivering the programme scope to enable Ops 2025 Smart Factories, LEAN/digital, alignment with the technology strategy and coordination of other digital elements of the 5-year strategy. The role reports to the VP Global Engineering who is also responsible for leading digital transformation across global operations and you will be a key stakeholder with the Smart Operations Steering Committee.
Essential for the role
* Bachelors engineering or technology
* Mastery of transformation and large scale programme delivery
* Excels at leading multi-functional working groups and teams
* Ability to influence strategically and persuade tactfully, to obtain desired outcomes while maintaining effective, positive organisational relationships
* Leadership experience promoting, motivating and empowering others to accomplish individual, team and organisational objectives
* Strong experience with Execution business processes
Desirable for the role
* MBA or equivalent business qualification
* Expert reputation within the business and industry
* Extensive knowledge of the digital transformation
