SCO IBP (Industrial Base Performance) is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
The Finishing department within Supply Chain is responsible for Process, Equipment, Development and Implementation of our converting process. We deliver results in the forefront of development with in the area of expertise.
To sharpen us even more we are now looking for a strong, influential and collaborative Development Engineer to drive the Finishing development and execution further and into the future.
In the role, you will be part of a skilled dynamic team and you will be focusing on driving and development of new converting solutions and creation of improvement towards our install base in our factory environment.
The position will be based in Lund and requires some travelling.
Main responsibilities
• Drive the Finishing core team in projects
• Responsible for development solutions and deployments
• Specialist and expert role in core areas
• Represent the area in different forums externally and internally
• Writing and follow up on development reports and supporting instructions in order
Qualifications
• You are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. Furthermore, you are transparent and open for change and have easy to collaborate with others within- and outside the organisation. Ability to solve problems under pressure, informal authority combined with strong drive will be the key to success.
• You preferably possess a technical background and are used to driving development projects or improvement activities within complex areas.
• To be successful in this position you need at least 10 years of experience working with automated production or similar. The experience can be either from a developing, maintaining or operational point of view.
• If you have experience of working with slitting, sealing or finishing equipment this is extra valuable background.
• Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
