Alfdex in Tumba is looking for
Senior Design Engineer
Alfdex is a Joint venture between the two Swedish companies Concentric and Alfa Laval. The product Alfdex is a high-speed separator which is used for the cleaning of crankcase gases on diesel engines to pass new emission legislations. Today Alfdex is the leader within crankcase gas cleaning and produce more than half a million separators annually. The development team is located in Tumba outside of Stockholm whereas validation, production, product support and logistics are handled in Landskrona in the south of Sweden. Alfdex has also a production site in China.
We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer at our R&D department in Tumba.
It is a challenging technical role with a lot of internal and external contacts.
You will be part of a highly efficient development team of 9 people.
The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for the technical solutions meeting the requirements on function, production and cost. The Senior Design Engineer will mainly work with concept development, design of new products and customer adoptions. The work is documented in 3D-modells, drawings and technical specifications. Product support of our existing variants will also be a part of the work.
Your educational background is Mechanical Engineering, preferably from automotive side.
You have worked with moulded parts in high volume series.
General interest in combustion engines is appreciated.
You write and speak English fluently.
The role demands that you are self-motivated and used to working both independently as well as in teams. If you find working with prototypes and testing you will find opportunities to develop your knowledge of the design in our development laboratory. Traveling is mainly to our site in Landskrona and China, but also to customers and suppliers both national and international.
