About the role
As a Senior Developer, you will lead the technical execution of a complex system merge. This hands-on role involves extensive coding, data migration, and coordination within a highly senior and collaborative team. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of our client's core systems.

Work tasks
This role focuses on leading a significant system migration, involving complex data handling and hands-on backend development.
Architect & implement: Lead the in-house migration of a vendor application and align it for new international country platforms.
Data excellence: Extract, transform, and merge complex historical data from legacy systems.
Technical focus: Use Java and Spring Boot to solve intricate backend challenges and define robust technical solutions.
Collaborate: Engage in a high-interaction office environment, ensuring a deep collective understanding of the project scope.
We are looking for
8-12 years of backend development experience.
Advanced experience: Java (preferably Java 21) and Spring Boot.
Data & Integration: Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) gained from large-scale projects and Kafka.
Proactive and consultant-minded approach, challenging the status quo constructively.
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
Fluent English communication skills.
It is meritorious if you have
Experience of JPA and REST APIs.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Artifactory.
