We offers a truly international environment with currently 10 different languages spoken, the common denominator being English. The Stockholm office is situated in the middle of the tech startup area by St Eriksplan, on the top floor with a big sun terrace.
alaTest?s B2B Development team develops our suite of modular review solutions for retailers and brands worldwide. We do so by using state of the art delivery architecture based on SaaS. Our vision is to deliver highly available, scalable, and high performing services to our global clients. If you create quality code, are willing to learn new technologies and methodologies and have strong experience in open source software, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Develop robust software and designs
Be responsible for the quality of your code with thoughtful design, unit testing and automated functional testing
Participate in and contribute to peer code reviews
Stay abreast of the latest technologies with a view to introducing new development techniques and tools that improve alaTest practices
Support integration projects
Requirements
A bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3+ years experience with web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
In-depth experience with modern web frameworks such as Kohana
Proficient in data structures and algorithms
Strong experience with database design and performance optimization
A genuine passion for the web, new technologies, and open source software
Must be authorized to work in Sweden
Personal skills
Driven and result oriented
Structured with the ability to plan, organize and deliver
Excellent English skills. Our company language is English and Swedish language skills are not required
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an international team
