Publiceringsdatum2014-02-04BeskrivningThe Android system/Web group within SW development in Lund is looking for an experienced engineer as a new colleague.
As an expert within the Android System/Web team you will work with other experts in the Web and system area. You?re expected to have social skills, a drive towards continuous improvement, great flexibility and a holistic mind-set. Of course you need a very solid technical skill-set as well, but the mind-set is very important. As a senior member of the team we expect you to become a source of inspiration and mentor for your team members sharing your thoughts and ideas. This, mixed with a curious mind will be helpful in your day-to-day work in our team solving complex tasks.
The Android System/Web team, as well as all other teams, contributes to the overall performance of the company and it?s crucial to see the big picture and work together within and outside the local team.
As part of the Development organization you will come in contact with latest technologies and new products. As a result from the partnership between the company and Google we do get first hand information about upcoming releases and new functionality in the Android Platform. Our close cooperation with SW vendors and 3rd party companies also gives us access to cutting edge technology within the mobile industry. As an engineer on our team you will be part of this information flow. Our pace is high and will continue to be so. Therefore you must be able to make decisions on your own and to be able to account for them later on.
We are working in a multicultural environment as our team is responsible for the area globally.
The job:
• Participate as a very skilled Software Developer in activities hosted by the Android Systems/Web team
• Maintain legacy code
• Quality assurance activities (T-hours, manual and automated test cases, etc)
• Actively participate in sprint planning
• Concepts and prototypes
Qualifiers:
• Excellent experience and knowledge from C++/Java programming
• Professional spoken and written English
• Team player personality
Differentiators:
• Chromium and Blink development experience
• Contributed code to open source project
• Professional (or otherwise proven) Android development experience
• Professional embedded systems experience
• Android system and application profiling
• A passion for software and mobile phones
• Speaks Swedish
