Senior Developer - PeopleSoft.
Overview:
The Senior PeopleSoft Developer will have demonstrated experience in areas like configuring customer 360 degree view, CRM sales, customer support, configured AWE, Portal Templates, mouse over menu, type ahead, partial page refresh, Setting Up and Building Organization Charts, text catalog, Generic Email Templates, TAM etc. he should also have worked on implementation, upgrade and support of PeopleSoft HRMS versions 9.0 and CRM 8.8 in the domains of Banking, telecom, Energy and retail.
Work Description:
• Works independently on routine assignments.
• Performs necessary investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine project feasibility.
• Helps in developing project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or equipment installations, or change to existing ones.
• Advises the appropriate people on the implications of existing IT systems that can be applied to a problem.
• Develops and/or evaluates previously refined data and programs and select from a range of alternatives to determine the appropriate action to be taken.
• Receives only general supervision.
• Performs routine duties independently; discusses or seeks approval on complex matters with the Senior Systems Analyst.
• Helps the Senior Systems Analyst to estimate resource needs for analysts, programmers, user personnel, consultants, equipment, etc.
• Develops or assists in the development of work plans, task sequencing, and the extent to which tasks may be performed concurrently.
• Recommends plans for user and resource management approvals.
• Specifies the number and kinds of records, files and/or documents to be used.
• Analyzes charts and/or diagrams of the problem to be programmed and defines system requirements in terms of equipment capabilities.
Required Competence:
• Requires experience of 5+ years , working on PeopleSoft CRM and HRMS in Energy domain
• Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance in large scale enterprise information systems on mainly PeopleSoft turnkey / in-house developed applications.
• Expert level familiarity with systems concepts design and standards.
• Provide technical expertise in terms of software usage, functionality, performance and reuse.
Required Credentials:
• Valid Passport with valid work and residence visas if applicable
• University Degree awarded from an accredited Institution (Recognized by the US or Sweden):
• MS or higher degree in either Computer Science Engineering or Management Information Systems
• Valid Driving License (EU: Class B or US: Class B equivalent or higher)
• PeopleSoft Certifications Desirable
Needed Personal Skills:
• English Language Skills: ADVANCED
• Only one candidate is being sought to fulfil this specific role - there will be minimal role and responsibility overlap. The candidate must be able to work on their own with minimal supervision and support. Attention to detail and ability to handle changes in a complex environment are important.
