Who we are
Climate ART is responsible for climate system development within Volvo Car Group. The section is part of Vehicle hardware unit within Volvo Car's R&D division (Product & Quality). The Air condition and Add heaters group has today 30 employees divided into two main teams, Team refrigerant HW & Chillers and Heating. The climate system is a big contributor in our companies' vision of becoming "leading in energy efficiency". Therefore, we believe that we play a really important role in shaping the electrification of Volvo Cars. We are currently on the exciting transition journey into Agile way of working, therefore it is important for us to be adoptable to changes and show initiative to bring value and make changes happen. We're taking on the ownership for our ART within the Solution, focusing on delivering the products with high quality. Cooperation and knowledge sharing are prioritized within the teams. We believe that what makes us stronger is sharing the development responsibility among the employees within the ART. We understand that it is the people that makes the difference.

What we offer
As a Developer in the Air Condition team you will bring design engineer competence to the Agile development team and support the team with development and verification in all phases. As a part of a development team you will along with other team members, the Scrum Master and the Product Owner decide and prioritize tasks and together make sure to execute the delivery of your team and Climate ART backlogs.

What you will do
You will work in close cooperation with suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing engineers, SQM, testing department and other support team members within the company. The work demands a personality that drives all tasks effective and finds ways to implement the best possible solution with no deviations regarding quality assurance.The role is challenging, and you will develop project leading skills, communication and technical skills by managing the Air Condition component projects, reporting status, leading the cross functional team both internally and towards the supplier to manage the deliveries according to the plan. You will take on the responsibilities to manage and communicate detailed plans for all concerned parties, document and communicate decisions within the team relevant for the deliveries and drive daily activities in your area of expertise

About yourself
* B.Sc or M.Sc. within mechatronic or el engineering, physics or equivalent experience.
* Understanding SAFe/Agile way of working
* Design engineer and product development experience
* Climate system knowledge is appreciated
* Fluent in English language, spoken and written
* Holds a valid driver 's licence B
