We are a team of 13 enthusiastic engineers that work with cooling systems routing. The team is divided into agile teams dedicated into specific projects. We have the opportunity to work within our true areas of interest and are truly passionate of the problem-solving process. Your mission as Senior Design Engineer
As Senior Design Engineer at Volvo Group you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of our future products where we have many exciting challenges ahead. You will work with a team of engineers and to drive progress and actions towards dedicated targets. As a Senior Design Engineer you work both with hard core engineering developing components but also plan, eliminate roadblocks, develop verification plans and strive for actions.
The role includes design work, requirement setting, documentation, validation and verification of the installation for the cooling routing system. Main design work tools are CAD, Microsoft office and Volvo documentation systems. Moreover, a bigger part of your work is leading, motivating and coordinating the product development activities for your area in one or several projects, together with different stakeholders and design engineers.
The main design area is to install various components needed for engine cooling systems. The work contains a lot of packaging. The work will be carried out in all phases, from start cost to maintenance. Several new innovative projects are starting up where new installations is needed.
Qualifications
Communication skills driving agenda with several commodities
preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
Several years of working experience as an engineer within automotive engineering
Experience in design of cooling system
Experience in CADm Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D-modelling and PDM-systems, preferably Creo and PDMLink
English proficiency
