Are you a forward-thinking engineer with a passion for innovation? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team, where they are redefining the automotive industry? We 're on the lookout for a talented Component Responsible Engineer to join the Sensors & Intake team!

Our client is at the forefront of automotive excellence. The Sensors & Intake team is a group of dedicated professionals working on Diesel and Petrol applications, including hybrid drivetrains. The primary focus is on delivering high-quality components for air induction systems, belt covers, cable ducts, support brackets, NVH encapsulation, and a range of sensors.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you 'll take on a crucial role in the development, production, and aftermarket phases of engine components. Collaboration is key, and you 'll work closely with multiple suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project deliveries.

Your Responsibilities:
• Evaluate concepts and select the best options based on technology, risk, and cost.
• Secure suppliers, create project timelines, and report progress to project leads.
• Align to ensure prototypes are available for pre-series builds.
• Ensure concept compatibility and integration into vehicles.
• Oversee design work for build-to-print articles or lead supplier-owned design work to meet our requirements.
• Verify concepts through virtual and physical testing, defining criteria for verification.
• Prepare for production start, coordinating with suppliers to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Manage documentation for legal and internal quality requirements.
• Act as the point of contact for technical and quality issues post-production.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Review and support supplier-owned designs to meet our requirements.
* Participate in package meetings to resolve mechanical conflicts.
* Attend Design Review meetings to report progress and address issues.
* Lead the sourcing process.
* Define requirements for owned components.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing, SQA, Procurement, and test and validation engineers.
* Maintain systems with up-to-date information.

About you
• Technical education at the University level.
• Automotive development experience, particularly in ICE development, is advantageous.
• B-Driver 's license.
• Proficiency in Team Center, Catia V5, and KDP.
• Fluent in English.

The assignment is a consultant position with employment at Adecco. The start will take place as soon as possible after the agreement.
