Overview

PDU Cloud is responsible for the development of cloud products such as the ECS/CEE (Ericsson Cloud System/Cloud Execution Environment) and IT-cloud. These are part of a new generation products that will run virtualized applications on Ericsson and other hardware platforms. It is expected that virtualized products gradually will replace native solutions and become the main way of providing services for subscribers and enterprises. Our products and solutions are new in the cloud market place and you will be part of securing successful business for this new product area togehter with the applications and BUGS.

We in PDU Cloud PIDS are handling the activities related to Product Introduction, Deployment & Support of PDU Cloud products. The function areas are Product Introduction (PI), Global Product Deployment (GPD), Support and Maintenance. We are now looking to fill a position in function area of deployment and support of Cloud, ECS/CEE- and future IT cloud products.

Position Summary

As a Deployment and Support Engineer in PIDS you will work with supporting customer deployments in the field, support virtual applications using PDU cloud products, answer product- and customer support questions and solve related problems, however also be involved in requirement analysis, design, TR-fixes, integration, verification, product and support documentation. We are looking for a genuinely curios person with great interest in the cloud and its technology enjoying working with customers.

We travel to customers sites or other Ericsson offices outside Sweden to support PoCs (Proof of Concept), DVAs (Design Verification Activity) or other customer related activities.
