Today, we are taking an active part in the public debate about AI. We are called in as experts by politicians, business leaders, and universities to help them better understand how to benefit from AI. Better health, smarter wealth, sustainable growth... The potential for good is endless with AI. At Peltarion, we aim to bring AI benefits to as many people as possible, even if they're not data scientists.
Why we are looking for you
The interest in our product is increasing, and we need to ramp up accordingly. To break new grounds and make complex problems solvable is the challenge you will accept when joining our team. No one says it will be easy, but we would guess this triggers you.
To truly understand how to make the best use of the latest AI techniques for real use cases and datasets, is your optimal goal. You will act as a thought leader within our field and drive activities to guide and help accelerate AI adoption in Sweden and the rest of the world.
What you will do day-to-day
• Follow, share and contribute to state-of-the-art AI research.
• In every project, evaluate how well new research works when applied to real-life challenges.
• Improve our end-to-end AI development platform by suggesting, prototyping, and implementing new features together with peers and our product team.
• Take responsibility for leading projects - liaise with customers/stakeholders, support peers completing the project, and report results.
• Coach and mentor peers to develop their skills.
• Communicate findings in written and oral form, such as research articles, blog articles, and talks at conferences, meet-ups, and with stakeholders.
Where you come from
Most of us come by way of start-ups, fast-growing scale-ups (some unicorns), academia, and other high-tech and/or research-oriented environments. We currently have roots reaching 20 different countries. Given this, your professional background could be wide or deep. Preferably both, since this would be the background of your colleagues.
If you have a peculiar hobby, a kind heart, and a dedicated mind and are on the lookout for a challenge like the one we described in this text, there's a good chance we'll be a great match.
