About the Team
The Intelligence team comprises an Architecture crew, and three Analytics crews all working closely with Storytel's various Business functions and our Product Management organization. We deliver reports and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions as well as algorithms aiming to improve our operations and customer experience.
About the Role
As a Data Scientist at Storytel, you will look at data with a mathematical mindset. Through knowledge of machine learning and programming, you will uncover patterns in Storytel's data and make future predictions.
This role will focus on Customer Engagement Analytics, turning customer behavior into insights in order to create the best possible customer experience. We are looking for a passionate and committed person to help achieve our goals within this area.
About You
To be successful in this role we believe that you have
A master or higher degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science or similar field
At least 5 years hands-on experience using modeling/development software (Python or R or similar) in a commercial environment
Experience with prediction modelling and segmentation techniques
Good communication skills and the ability to translate vaguely-defined business problems into statistical or machine learning solutions
Excellent at writing and speaking English
And for some bonus points
Experience from subsciprtion services (B2C)
