hela Sverige We are searching for a senior Data Engineer to work as a consultant for our international client in Malmö.
Background:
Our client is building a cross-disciplinary team to offer data product that serves as common source of truth for costs across the company, at high granularity, and for technical and non-technical consumers.
The data product will be essential for high-stakes processes such as budgeting, business steering and cost performance evaluation.
Main Tasks:
• Integrate into a cross-functional agile team with Product Owner, Data Analysts and Data/ML/Software/DevOps Engineers
• Understand business requirements from stakeholders for the data product (together with Product Owner)
• Translate business requirements into a data model (potentially together with a Data Architect)
• Create batch or streaming data pipelines from source systems to Google Cloud Platform
• Merge, harmonize and transform data on Google Cloud Platform to produce desired data product
• Create tests, monitoring and DevOps operating mode to ensure a high-quality product
Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills:
• Team oriented, experience working with cross-functional teams and Agile
• Cloud-based Data Engineering, preferably on Google Cloud Platform
• BigQuery (SQL and storage), DataFlow (Apache Beam), ETL
• Relevant programming language (Python)
• DevOps, DataOps, CI/CD, deployment on GCP
• Self-driven, action- and goal-oriented
• Good communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders
