The Team

As a member of our Stockholm team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing various data processing solutions that serve as the backbone for data-driven and personalised customer experiences. The role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Avaus, you'll be part of multidisciplinary client teams, likely in an Agile environment. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients' business and technical stakeholders to understand the intricacies of complex data solutions. Your core responsibilities include designing and developing data processing solutions using various cloud vendors' services. You'll also engage in the following:
• Contribution to feature development from inception to delivery
• Design and development of data solutions using leading cloud platforms
• ETL and data analysis for providing valuable insights to our clients
• Close collaboration with colleagues in data science, marketing automation, and strategy.

Ownership is something you value, and you want to be part of our journey. In addition to your personality, we'd also like you to possess:
• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, or physics, or a few years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Python or Java
• Proficiency in SQL and data modelling
• Experience working with Cloud platforms like GCP or Azure
• Experience in report and dashboard development
• Fluent in English.
Practical information:
This is a permanent position with a 6 months' probation period, based at our Stockholm office at Katarinavägen 17. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer a hybrid remote workplace and you will report to Head of Delivery, Ellen Lübeck.
