hela Sverige We are searching for a senior Data Analyst to work as a consultant for our international client in Malmö.
Background:
The Data Analyst will work together with the rest of the product team (Product Owner, Product Specialist, Software engineers, UX designers...) to understand the current solution and further improvements as part of continuous product development.
The main tasks:
- Conduct advanced data exploration and analysis related to new global communication performance using all type of data sources, modern data mining techniques, or visualization tool.
• Write highly elaborate SQL queries that extract, transform and load data from storage to an appropriate format, using joins, nesting and more advanced operations as an integral component of data processing pipelines
• Provide insights that help co-workers and stakeholders make better decisions around the communication platform development
• Propose and implement a framework of tools and deliverables to support the analytical capability
• Translate business/domain input into testable hypotheses, features/models, or metrics and the ensure that solutions fulfill and adapt to actual business needs
• Proactively manage meetings with relevant stakeholders and/or teams to drive an intended outcome
• Work tightly together with the rest of the D&A coworkers in the Customer Support & Returns team to ensure best practices, a consistent approach and common roadmap
Desired knowledge, competence, experience, skills :
• Extensive knowledge of data processing for large datasets
• Broad knowledge of data mining techniques and modern visualization tools (Data Studio, PowerBI...)
• Extensive knowledge of Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform environment
• Broad knowledge of probability and statistics, including hypothesis testing using controlled experiments (e.g. A/B testing)
• Good understanding of collaborative software engineering practices (Agile, DevOps)
• Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data/Web Analyst or Data Scientist
• Independent problem-solver, including an ability to self-learn new techniques/tools as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, network and build strong relations with team members and stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience with digital product development
Most important things:
Broad knowledge of data mining techniques and modern visualization tools (Data Studio, Power BI etc.)
