Tetra Pak design and deliver dairy processing lines and plants all over the world. In Lund we have a team supporting our global organization with the aim to bring optimal solutions to the continuously growing global Dairy market. The Dairy Ambient team in Business Unit Liquid Food is now looking for a Senior Dairy Technologist to strengthen the team.
Within the dairy ambient category, we work with solutions for processing of all kind of dairy products for ambient distribution, e.g. Ultra-high temperature processed (UHT) long life milk products. You will together with our existing dairy technologist team and be a key person in the global dairy organization, driving technology development, supporting sales and order fulfillment both within the Business Unit, to our market companies and to our customers.
What you will do
As our new Senior Dairy Technologist, you will be part of a team of highly qualified professionals and work in close cooperation with sales and market companies all over the world.
You will focus on:
Drive technology development within Dairy Ambient including technology scouting and product development
Train and drive the competence development of our global organisation within the area of food technology
Support sales team with food technology expertise and product knowledge
Support customers with food technology expertise, trouble shooting and audits of their production facilities
This position is based in Lund, Sweden, but you will work in a global arena. You will travel around 20% of your time.
Who you are
We are looking for a highly self-motivated and outgoing person. You enjoy being the expert, sharing your knowledge and inspiring people. You have the ability to listen and to absorb customer needs to build a good market understanding. You have a strong commercial focus and are keen to combine this with your food technology competence.
Your personal drive is strong and you like taking overall responsibility. Your communication skills are excellent, and you have the ability to build trust and good relations with global colleagues, in both sales and technically oriented positions.
You hold a university degree in food technology, food chemistry or equivalent. You have minimum 10 years' practical experience from the dairy industry, preferably in dairy products, production or processes. Experience working with (UHT) long-life milk products is considered a big plus.
Your English skills are excellent, spoken as well as written.
