On behalf of one of our clients, one of the larger commercial banks in Sweden with offices in the centre of Stockholm, we are currently looking for a senior Controller for a temporary assignment. The assignment will start 1 September and could lead to a permanent position with our client.

Publiceringsdatum2011-07-26Dina arbetsuppgifterFor this role you will work in a group with 13 colleagues. Your duties include providing high quality financial intelligence mainly to the division CFO and for the GEC in monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports, e.g. profit and loss statement, balance sheet and asset quality according to the internal service level agreements.
Furthermore, you will:
• provide ad-hoc financial analyses to the division CFO and country CFOs
• support the division and countries in business, financial planning, target setting and financial follow-up
• ensure continuous improvement in the financial reporting
• actively drive and take part in ventures and projects to provide financial expertise
• manage relationships with stakeholders, especially in the divisional management team, the country financial organisations and all departments taking part in the financial process.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We want you to have a master's degree in controlling, finance, accounting, banking or related fields and at least five years of finance or controlling experience. You have a strong ability to translate figures into comments and develop financial reports and analyses. Moreover, you have solid accounting skills and the ability to acquire knowledge of how accounting mirrors business. You also have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and you are fluent in both Swedish and English.
As a person you are a thorough problem solver who can focus on both details and the big picture when needed. You also have the ability to interact with internal customers and senior management, ensuring high quality relationships with credibility. Furthermore, you are an analytical team player and are able to coordinate effectively with other internal departments.
