Senior consultant with Financial Experience
We are looking for a Senior Operational Consultant with solid financial experience e.g. Law analysis, business models, financial terms&conditions and agrements, work process.
Ericsson will deliver a product and integrate into the customers environment enabling the customer a feature rich and compliant solution with support for multiple channels and an extensive range of sophisticated account management and transaction services.
The Consultant is responsible to convert incoming business requirements from customer into cost effective services and solutions. Within the context of Mobile Money this involves defining the impact of global and local regulations on the platform and its deployments in various countries.
Main tasks for this role:
Provide technical and industry expertise on element within Revenue Management/Mobile Money
Requirement writing and handling, system modeling and technical cost estimations within the early processes of presale and deployment.
Assure the Mobile Money requirements continuously complies with:
• Financial regulations (e.g. AML, Financial Fraud, Regulatory requirements on Financial Legal Entities, Risk management, Basel 2, Lending and other relevant banking regulations).
• Accounting regulations (e.g. IFRS/IAS, best practices within bank accounting, COREP/FINREP and audit routines).
• Contractual law (e.g. transfer of ownership, debt law).
• Using Swedish Financial Regulations (FFFS, Law), EU regulations (CEBS, BIS) global policymakers such as the World bank, UK FSA etc and other sources of regulatory relevance as guidelines.
Be the peer to marketing ensuring their business cases being pedagogical, clear and in line with global and local financial regulations.
Respond to, interact with and thoroughly assist Financial Service Authorities (FSA), auditors and rating institutes in their continuous evaluation of the global and local platforms.
You must have:
A university degree (MSc or BSc), preferably within Finance, Software Engineering and/or Law.
Regulatory and banking experience preferably related to payments.
Knowledgeable in accounting, able to define accounting rules for payment flows and adhering to rules for designing financial payment systems.
Experience of leadership and well developed communication skills.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Speak and write English fluently.
Meritorious:
We appreciate candidates with:
Hands on experience from working with payments, banking compliance and/or risk management within the financial service sector.
Hands on experience from RUP/UML, Scrum software development and database architecture.
Sales/Consulting experience since the role will be tightly connected with sales and delivery and sometimes also client facing.
Experience of inter-working between bank and external systems - integration between systems via e.g. SWIFT, ISO 20022 etc.
Experience with telecom systems is appreciated.
