Job Description
Scrum master should have key understanding of SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, and XP frameworks and principles and have ability to manage time, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies.
Your role
In the role of a Scrum master , you will serve to facilitate scrum to the larger team by ensuring the scrum framework is followed. You should be committed to the scrum methodology, agile principles, and best practices-but should also remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their Agile way of working.
Anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Responsibilities .
• Should be able to facilitate the Scrum process/ceremonies seamlessly: This includes conducting Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Host Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Should be able to facilitates collaboration and communication between team players and leadership to ensure a successful project outcome.
• Should be aware of Scrum principles and Agile engineering practices
• Facilitate communication: Responsible for ensuring that there is clear communication between the team, the Product Owner, and any other stakeholders.
• Assist Product Owner with the Product Backlog prioritization.
• Implementing process changes and steps to improve team's productivity.
• Implementing Project Management/Best Practices.
• Removing team Impediments/roadblocks and protect team from outside distractions and interruptions.
• Ensuring smoother and seamless quality delivery and within sprint timelines
Required
• Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience as Scrum master and project manager
Preferred
• Should have excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Should be excellent planner when it comes to perform release planning and other delivery planning.
• Should have excellent problem-solving skills
• Responsible for Coaching and mentoring team members
• Good to have experience in leading Frontend Web Development - Angular, react and Backend (Java, node Js) team.
• Nice to have experience with HTML, CSS, Java etc.
• Nice to have understanding of RESTful APIs and how to use them (experience with GraphQL is a plus)
