hela Sverige Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is looking for a full-time Community Developer who will work onsite within the development team. This person will provide a strong connection between the gaming community and the development team; managing key aspects of communication, asset development and working to expand the game experience. He/She will work with multiple departments worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Define the global community strategy in relation with the Lead Community Developer and with the European and US Digital Marketing Managers
• Provide insights about the community activity and sentiment
• Create community-focused assets such as articles, videos, podcasts, interviews, captioned screenshots and more
• Coordinate communication with multiple departments for consistent messaging
• Implement and monitor metrics to evaluate success and ROI of community activities
• Be the community advocate within the Development Team
• Manage post-launch communication and in-game activities in coordination with Digital Marketing and the Development Team
• Coordinate post launch feedback from customers to help define title updates priorities
• Coordinate events involving studio visits from fans, chats with Development Team, and tournament support
• International travels required
Requirements
• Passion for gaming and knowledge of online communities mandatory
• Extensive gaming experience with multiple gaming platforms and genres mandatory
• Experience from working on AAA titles within Community Development
• Ability to write basic HTML
• Experience with content management system(s)
• Strong writing skills mandatory
• Fluency in English written and spoken
• Extensive knowledge of Internet tools and social networks
• Forum moderation experience preferred
• Experience running a fan site or participating in an online gaming clan or guild a plus
• Proven skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe suites a plus
• Foreign languages and/or willingness to learn a plus
