What you'll do
The Manufacturing Engineering department at Volvo Cars is the vital bridge that connects product development and production. We lead the global development for future sustainable manufacturing. This role will belong to the Business Development team which is a key enabler in this department. Our focus lies within cross-functionality and supporting the teams around us to excel in their work.
A crucial element for success is collaboration and communication. You will be working with connecting our department by implementing news feeds, events and other channels. You will also support the senior leadership team of the department with planning and sharing information. In your role as Senior Communication Leader you will be the spokesperson of our department.
What you'll bring
We are looking for you who have an academic degree of a bachelor's or higher. You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, and a background within journalism. You have professional experience with audio and video editing. You are comfortable communicating in English, both speaking and writing. You are in possession of a portfolio within Communication with proven experiences in the field of communication, and have an entrepreneurial mindset. You are a team player who brings people together and like to network and bring a positive, cheerful attitude to our team. Although you will not work in a detailed technical area, an interest in technology is meritorious.
