The Sony Ericsson Creative Design Center is looking for a talented, motivated Senior Colour & Material designer to increase the team based in Lund, Sweden.

In addition to proven stellar design skills, all candidates must possess strong personal motivation, outstanding interpersonal ability, and leadership in cross functional teams. This position is multi-disciplinary - the desire to and ability to seamlessly work with other Sony Ericsson Creative Design Center functions [Industrial Design, Human Interface Design, Graphic Design, Packaging] in our US, London, Tokyo, Beijing, and Sweden studios is critical.
This position includes the following responsibilities on Sweden developed designs:
• Trend analysis and forecasting of color/material/graphics for regional and global products.
• Present and communicate color direction and strategy to a wide audience; plan and execute color designs; and collaborate with other design disciplines, product planning, development, and vendors to ensure market success.
• Produce production artwork for regional and global assigned products.
Senior Color & Material Designer candidates must possess the following:
• Bachelor degree in Design, Art or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant color trend, and color development work experience.
• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient with basic graphic design software [ Photoshop, Illustrator, In design etc]
• Production artwork layout experience
• Ability to comprehend and summarize color and design trends for a variety of sources.
• Proven presentation skills are a must
