The Cloud Ops Team
The Cloud Ops team consists of 4 people today. The team follows agile and DevSecOps practices, such as automation, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, monitoring, and is keen on perpetual improvement and knowledge sharing.
The team is responsible for supporting and enabling the tech organisation to create business value through fast and secure releases.
We are responsible for managing our:
AWS infrastructure
Kubernetes clusters
CI/CD pipelines
Central components such as RabbitMQ, databases, centralized logging and monitoring.
Some of the technologies we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, CloudFormation, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Operators and Ansible.
You'll face the challenge of scaling our organization, hundreds of services and infrastructure across regions and accounts while keeping it cost efficient, secure and simple to manage.
What you'll get to do
We are looking for a full-time Cloud Engineer to join our office in central Stockholm. You will be responsible for improving our infrastructure in AWS and work closely with the different tech teams at Detectify.
Your main responsibilities will be improving and extending our infrastructures and how we work with it.
This includes:
Plan and deploy cloud resources with Amazon Web Services
Create a scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure with sufficient monitoring
Help our journey to immutable infrastructure and GitOps
Collaborate with developers to form a DevOps culture
Who you are
Solid experience in IT implementation or leading IT Projects in Architecture, Engineering, or Development
Extensive experience with AWS with Terraform or Cloudformation
Knowledge and experience using Container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience working within large-scale Architectures
Problem solving skills to tackle business challenges
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with Golang and/or Message Queues and/or PostgreSQL
AWS Certification
