Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing highly available cloud-based infrastructure across multi-cluster and multi-region AWS environments. You'll work with a high-performing DevOps and infrastructure team to streamline CI/CD, enhance resilience, and drive deployment automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based deployments with a high degree of automation, scalability, and resilience. You will play a key role in streamlining deployment workflows, ensuring high availability, and enabling continuous delivery across distributed environments.
Key Technologies:
AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm
Harness, GitLab, Jenkins
Apache Kafka, Cilium
Python, Gradle, Unix/Linux
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and manage scalable AWS infrastructure across clusters and regions
Optimize and secure Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Cilium
Automate deployment pipelines with Harness, Jenkins, and GitLab
Configure and manage Kafka in a distributed cloud setup
Develop infrastructure automation tools using Python
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery
Troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues
Apply best practices in DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure roles
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm
Deployment orchestration experience (preferably with Harness)
Solid background with Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Unix/Linux
Python scripting for automation and tooling
Familiar with DevSecOps practices and build tools like Gradle
Nice to Have:
AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
Experience with Terraform or service mesh technologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
