About us:
We are seeking a talented Cloud Developer to join our Vehicle Service Information department. In this dynamic role, you'll utilize cutting-edge technologies to deploy and maintain Machine Learning (ML) models in production. Additionally, you'll play a key role in developing advanced data products on our Snowflake platform
You will together with the team:
• Deploy and maintain ML models in production on AWS, including setting up monitoring.
• Build, test, and maintain infrastructure and tools for efficient software development and release.
• Develop advanced data products on our Snowflake data platform.
• Utilize Agile methodology to ensure efficient and value-driven project delivery.
As a key member of our Data Science team, you will collaborate with diverse teams across the organization, from R&D to Sales & Marketing and beyond, as well as with other Data Science teams at Scania.
Our dream candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Software Engineering, AWS, and Cloud DevOps, encompassing areas like Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring, Automation, Scalability, and Cost-Effectiveness & Efficiency. Additionally, we expect familiarity with Git and agile software engineering best practices.
You should demonstrate good knowledge and experience in SQL, along with proficiency in coding with Python. We believe you have expertise in data wrangling and a track record of building and maintaining data pipelines. Your experience should also extend to big data technologies, including Kafka, S3, Spark, and Hive.
Moreover, desirable attributes include an in-depth understanding of ML concepts, hands-on experience with tools like Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, as well as the ability to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end Machine Learning architectures in the cloud. Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing services such as Snowflake and Amazon Athena is advantageous.
As a person, we expect you to be structured, communicative, service-minded and possess a proven track record of drive while working independently and efficiently. Fluency in English, both in speaking and writing is essential.
