hela Sverige The Senior propulsion engineer will be part of the Propulsion team and be responsible of supporting the technical developments of all of propulsion related activities: engineering, AIT and procurement aspects. This shall include the development of tools (hardware or Software), AIT methods, and products and suppliers coordination.
He / She will work and report to the Propulsion Team leader in cooperation with team and the projects. He/She will be responsible for the industrialization process.
Experience required:
A higher graduate university degree in aerospace, mechanical or equivalent. At least ten years of practical experience in either electric and/or bi-prop spacecraft propulsion technologies. Experience in planning, testing and analyzing fluid systems and high pressure using gases, propellants and simulants. This includes pressure drops, fluid expansion, mass flow and sloshing. Working and knowledge of European Space Agency working methods is a plus but not essential.
Skills include communication, persuation and prioritization and a team environment.
Fluent English is necessary, Swedish learning is encouraged.
