We, the Infotainment & Connectivity team, are looking for a Senior Category Buyer.
You will be part of a team with 10 buyers in Europe and 2 buyers in China. Infotainment and Connectivity is a part of Electrical purchasing with responsibility for Audio, Displays, Telematics and Connectivity - Your responsibility is two of the most complex commodities, the Head Unit and Telematics Hardware.
What you'll do
As Senior Category Buyer Infotainment you are responsible for all sourcing related tasks of the head unit and telematics hardware.
Therefore we consider previous sourcing experience a merit.
As Senior Category Buyer you have responsibility to set, and deploy strategies for these commodities both on short and long term.
The strategies are created in the team and together with various stakeholders, an excellent team work and leadership as well as a great networking ability is key in this position to be successful.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a Commercial and/or Technical University degree with proven leadership skills and an interest in creating and developing teams.
In addition, you have experience from positions that involve negotiation, and supplier contact is a common task.
You possess a good understanding of setting supplier strategies.
We also believe that you have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Of course, you are Proficient in English, both spoken and written
If you also have experience from the car and purchasing industry, it is meritorious
