Chassis & Powertrain Dynamics Senior CAE Engineer - Virtual Vehicle Architecture

CEVT is using CAE as an integrated part of product development and verification electronic control modules of chassis and powertrain systems.
Joining our Chassis & Powertrain Dynamics CAE team is a unique opportunity to be in the forefront of simulation driven development, using and developing cutting edge tools and methods while collaborating with the best engineers in the field.
Typical work tasks in this senior role are to develop methods for development and verification of ADAS/AD control modules.
Educate and guide colleagues, internal and external stakeholders in the organization
Implement MIL/SIL/HIL to support ongoing and future vehicle development programs.
Support and develop driving simulator activities and equipment

Responsibilities and tasks

- Bridge between offline/passive system simulations to real-time/active system simulations.
- Method development for MIL/HIL/SIL activities in vehicle programs.
- Method development for Driving Simulator activities.
- Increase awareness of VVA capabilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to develop Chassis & Powertrain Dynamics CAE-team efficiency.

Requirements

- M.Sc. Mech Eng, or higher.
- Experience from similar work tasks within the automotive area.
- Experience of performing and documenting advanced calculations and analysis.
- Ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Ability to communicate results clearly both verbally and in writing to project stakeholders in English.
- Experience of Carmaker, VI-Car Realtime, Matlab/Simulink, driving simulators, controller modeling.
- Understanding of the function of vehicle control systems on both component and full vehicle level.
- Excellent personal drive and ability to appreciate fast paced work environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, basic knowledge in Swedish.
- Knowledge in German or Chinese (Mandarin) is a merit.
