At the section Cab body & Exterior we have both in-house development and development in cooperation with external partners and we always seek to deliver customers future needs today. We have the aspiration to have the most skilled and engaged employees in the industry and we are now looking for a Lead Engineer to strengthen the Cab Body - Exterior Umeå & Customer Adaptation team within Cab Engineering Europe.
As Senior CAD Engineer you will be a key contributor to the success of our customers. You will have colleagues around the world, all passionate about trucks and engineering solutions. Together we develop new and premium cabs for our future trucks, covering advanced engineering, concept studies and detailed development work.

You are expected to take a key role in CAD engineering and secure a high level of component design and document quality. You will work together with Engineering Task Leaders in all engineering phases, from advanced engineering to concept visualization to industrialization of complete documentation in both 2D and 3D. You will also independently lead tasks in smaller projects.

Requirements
• Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Highly skilled in 3D CAD and PDM, preferably Catia V5, PDM-Link and KOLA, with documented knowledge in advanced surface design
• Minimum 7 year engineering experience and at least 3 years within automotive development
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
