Senior Buyers to the Automotive Industry
Do you have purchasing experience from the automotive industry and want to work in a big global organisation that embraces diversity? Then this might be the position for you!
Dfind Science & Engineering is now looking for Senior Buyers, within Program Purchasing & Liasion, that are passionate about engineering and innovation. You will be employed by Dfind, but have your first assignment at one of our main clients within the automotive industry.
In this position you will actively develop and support the sourcing strategies for the company's newly released car model in an X-functional group that stretches over R&D, Q, supply chain and purchasing. As a Senior Buyer you are the bridge between R&D Sweden and the Purchasing Unit in China and it is in your interest to work and collaborate with the key stakeholders to meet various sourcing gates through the sourcing process. You will prepare necessary documentation for the process, participate in cross functional teams and meetings like; technical reviews and negotiations. The negotiations you take part in can be anywhere in the segments of; commercial, time related challenges, capacity, design changes and final agreements. We believe that you are an outgoing person who likes to update your network as well as establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Required qualifications
• University degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• 5-10 years Purchasing experience from the automotive industry
• Experience from working internationally with emphasis on European / Asian Culture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is meritious

• Strong interpersonal skills and sense of business acumen
• Strong work ethics and high integrity
• Strong analytical and organizational skills - experienced in complex problem solving
• High level of self-initiative and ability to work with minimal Supervision

Extension: Full-time consultant via Dfind Science and Engineering
