The aluminium castings team is a team of passionate and driven colleagues located in Europe (Lyon, France and Goteborg, Sweden).

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Key responsibilities:
Drive the global network of commodity and project buyers as Segment leader for aluminium castings
Work in close cooperation with all buyers on this scope
Building Segment Business Plans, by being part of the early phase investigations with cross-functional teams
Build the sourcing plan globally and secure the long term outcome
Execute agreements with suppliers
Drive supply chain delivery and optimization
Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows with suppliers.
Monitor, identify and mitigate risks. Manage crisis situations when needed
Manage and negotiate product/processes changes
Drive all relevant activities to deliver on QDCFTSR targets during sourcing, project & production phases.
Forecast cost optimization plan for scope of responsibility
Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, coaching buyers when relevant, sharing good cases and ask for support when needed

You have a engineering or business school background and you are fluent in English,
Former experience in Purchasing (3 years +), technical background and automotive experience are considered as assets.
