We are looking for you who are a collaborator and have a strong strategic understanding, to join us in in implementing Volvo Group's sustainability and electrification agenda in the battery purchasing team. What will you work with as a buyer of Battery Cells?
You will, as a key member in the battery segment team, contribute to defining and implementing the strategy for the batteries and battery cells. That means e.g.:
* Contribute to building the expertise within the battery segment and the understanding of the complete supply chain
* Perform activities required for the portfolio
* Lead purchasing activities related to technology development projects
* Continuously securing supplier *QDCFTSR performance. *Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management.
* Ensure strong and efficient collaboration

* You like to do business and have a passion for purchasing you demonstrate excellent communication skills, and you are comfortable in cross functional and multicultural set-up
* You have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
* You are always trying to improve both yourself and your work environment
* You are driven, responsible and accountable for your deliveries
* You are a purchasing professional and experiences of the battery cell industry within the area of automotive is considered as a strength
* You have an adequate academic education
