To strengthen the growth and expansion of our business within the Alleima Strip Division, we are now looking for a driven Senior Business Development Project Manager - An entrepreneur with a true passion for business, technology, and unparalleled customer focus.
Your Role
In this key role, the Senior Business Development Project Manager will be responsible for identifying and driving Strategic Business Development activities with focus on prioritized business segments that will secure new business for the Strip Division. The role also includes M&A activities such as target screening and driving M&A projects.
In addition to the business development work, you will, together with the team and internal stakeholders from around the world, participate in the annual strategy development cycle.
In this position, you report to the Head of Business Development and R&D for the Strip Division. Location is somewhat flexible with regular presence in Sandviken and will also require occasional traveling to e.g., U.S., Europe, and Asia, depending on project.
Your mission:
• Identify, analyze, and drive new business development activities outside today's business segments, in alignment with Strip Division strategy
• Generate business cases for new product development opportunities
• Identify and analyze possible targets regarding M&A
• Drive the process for competitor and business intelligence
About You
We are looking for someone with a M.Sc. degree in Engineering and/or a degree in Business Administration. In addition to your education, you have minimum 10 years' work experience from a similar role within the manufacturing industry. This includes a solid track record of project leadership capabilities. This role requires you to work in a global setting so excellent English skills is a must.
You are results-based and focus on attaining targets and deliverables, where your strategic mindset combined with your analytical features enables you to easy spot the details we need to move forward. You have well-developed communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with people from different settings and organizational levels. Your stakeholder management and communication skills are excellent, and you know how to interact with a large number of stakeholders of different backgrounds and opinions. You are a self-motivated team player who plans and prioritizes your time effectively.
