Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Damco Sweden, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial development of Damco's Ocean freight and Air freight portfolios.

• Developing customer relationships with decision makers on all levels.
• Building and developing a strong sales pipeline according to your targets.
• Personally leading the process of identifying, qualifying, pursuing and winning business opportunities from targeted customers. The customer portfolio will include medium-sized and large companies
• Accountable for a seamless and timely transition of customer management from the Commercial team to our Operation teams.
• Supporting the resolution of Commercial and Customer Service Office reported customer issues, including interventions with customers to resolve escalated issues.
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction and an excellent customer experience.

We believe the ideal candidate has:
• 3 years+ in a customer facing sales role within the freight forwarding industry.
• A good understanding of logistics and forwarding products, solutions and pricing terminology, in the local market.
• Great relationship building skills.
• Proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning large opportunities, through both personal and collaborative selling efforts.
• Well-developed communication, persuasiveness, influencing and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Fluency in the English and Swedish language.

The work also requires that you are self-starter and performance driven. Of course, we believe that you have a genuine interest in creating and doing business with the Customer in focus.

You will become a part of our successful commercial team where you will be given a key position in order to grow and further develop our commercial activities in Sweden in the line with our newly launched strategy.
