We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Business Data Specialist, with a strong data background, to join our KYC Change Management team in Nordea.
KYC Change Management is embarking on an exciting new development journey aimed at developing a new strategic KYC solution, the Global KYC Tool. This tool will eventually replace the current KYC application landscape.
As the Senior Business Data Specalist for KYC Change Management, you will play a pivotal role in creating tangible value towards Nordea's mission of detecting and preventing financial crime, by creating conceptual data models, supporting different user cases and analysing and translating business needs into robust and long-term data solutions.
About this opportunity
KYC provides the framework for ensuring that we know whom we are doing business with, where their money comes from, and the purpose of the transactions. A robust KYC process is the key element in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF).
Nordea has set out ambitious targets for 2025. The success of the KYC strategic solution is a vital part of reaching those targets.
The role is based in Sweden, Finland, Estonia or Poland.
What you will be doing:
Create guidelines for various integrations for all the sources and consumers and coordinating with various stakeholders for driving requirements and solutions
Create data specifications and support the development-team in the creation of reports to ensure that the output meets the requirements of the solution
Coordinate with business teams and IT teams on various business and technical requirements
Description of knowledge and experience:
Understanding of creating Data road maps, Data strategy and coordinate with various stakeholders
Good understanding of Dimensions, transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies and life cycles ETL and MDM technologies
Understanding of Data Quality and Data management processes
Good understanding of ITIL processes
Expertise in these areas is an advantage:
* Making recommendations on data maintenance tactics for slowly changing dimensions, data roll-off / archival planning
* Basic understanding of GDPR rules related to Data deletion, archival processing of personal data
* Experience using data modeling tools such as Power Designer (preferable), Erwin, or equivalent
* Understanding of various database storage such as Hadoop, Cloud etc.
