Business Control Complete Vehicle is part of the global Controlling & Product Finance team at Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). We are the business partners of the Complete Vehicle organization, providing business analysis and financial direction tailored to optimizing the performance of the function and its project portfolio. We are a global and diverse team of 14, with half of us based in Gothenburg and colleagues also in France, the US, Brazil, and India.
In the team we thrive on helping each other and working together to solve everything from the most complicated to the simplest tasks.
The Complete Vehicle operations consist of a wide variation of activities in the GTT portfolio, which includes the use of test trucks, test rigs, design, aftermarket services and quality of our products.
Who are you?
You are part of a team of Business Controllers supporting Complete Vehicle Sweden at GTT. You oversee financial reporting and analysis for R&D, from a project and OPEX perspective. During the first year, you will be a spider in the web and coordinate closing/forecasting activities for the full controlling team while one of our colleagues is on maternity leave. With an open and positive attitude, you drive improvements, and you like to challenge yourself. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work with people from different levels in the organization and backgrounds are essential.
Your main focus will be:
Secure month/year end closing deliveries
Coordinate closing/forecasting activities for the full controlling team
Provide forecasts for expense and project view
Financial analysis and business support to engineering functions
Support intercompany invoicing
Finances related to material, test trucks, and rigs
You will need:
A relevant degree in Finance/Economics/Business
Minimum five years' experience as Business Controller
Strong Excel skills. Power BI skills are also a plus.
Digital literacy: interest and aptitude in IT tools and systems, e.g. SAP.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Fluency in English
