We are currently looking to strengthen our organization with a Senior Business Controller supporting all sectors.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Philips Nordic as a Senior Business Controller for one of our sectors located in Kista, Stockholm.
The successful candidate is business and commercial minded and has a thorough understanding of accounting and finance and will be able to communicate at all levels in the organization.
You work proactive in engaging business management to achieve financial and business goals. You identify and assess new business opportunities and also advise and supports decision making throughout the organization.
An important part is to initiate and actively lead change management to influence and advise senior management on key decisions impacting financial performance. You articulate the overall direction of the planning process and also have the ability to define the key assumptions underpinning the detailed planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for driving the financial forecasts with ability to articulate and defend it in reviews
• Responsible for driving financial planning activities
• Drive achievement of cost reduction strategies for the organization
• Advise on opportunities to accelerate financial performance
• Communicate with stakeholders to articulate business performance (articulates the financial performance, providing the business context, opportunities and risks)
• Proactive work in engaging business management to achieve financial and business goals
Requirements - Knowledge and experiences
• University degree in business administration, accounting/finance
• A minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience in a similar role
• Deep knowledge of accounting and finance
• Strong business orientation
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in leadership
• Good knowledge of relevant computer systems, Excel, Business Warehouse and SAP
• Fluent in English and Swedish language, orally and written

You have the experience and ability of managing relationships at all levels in the organization. As a person you are goal oriented and have a clear focus on improvement of results and processes.
The position is a full time position to start as soon as possible at Philips head office located in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden. The Senior Business Controller reports to the Financial Manager Nordic. The position will require occasional travelling in Scandinavia.
