The functions responsibility also contains areas such as business partnership, center of expertise for business model contractual matter, GTO governance and securing cross functional cooperation, as well as Volvo Group trade navigation and barrier governance and coordination.
We are now looking for a Senior Business and Trade Navigator
As senior business and trade navigator you will be part of a small and lean team with capabilities and expertise to guide the Volvo Group in matters related to global and regional trade.
Mission
By working in close collaboration with Volvo Group global network, provide relevant analysis and guidance in matters related to business environment and trade to secure Volvo Group opportunities and trade in long term plans.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Review, monitor and analyze global trade political evolution
• Follow macro-economic development globally and to make interpretations of impacts for the Volvo Group
• Provide reports and studies in trade related matters to relevant Volvo Group stakeholders
• Proactively initiate cross functional efforts to capitalize and leverage on existing expert teams in relevant functions (Customs, Tax, Public Affairs, Legal, etc.)
Main deliverables
• Overall trade & business navigation analysis and reports
• Recommendation/Guidance in front of specific decisions
• Provide reasoning and logic for Volvo Group position in matters related to trade
• Contribute in cases related to trade violations effecting Volvo Group negatively

Critical competencies for the position
To be able to succeed in this position we believe you have a good selection of the following skills/qualities (in addition to being fluent in English):
• Being curious and interested in global political landscape movements as well as in global/regional macroeconomics
• Ability to read and understand studies and reports as well as trade documents
• Visionary and strategic thinker with analytical skills
• Ambitious consultative and structured in your approach
• Excellent in collaboration and experienced from working and achieving results in cross-organizational setups as well as in international business environments
• A broad experience from various company functions in order to guide and balance in cross functional topics at stake
• Strong communication skills and ability to describe complex global political movement and trends in "an easy to understand" way
• High level of Integrity and courage
Qualifications
• Master Degree preferably in Economics or/and Law
• Experience from international automotive environment
• Multi-functional professional experience
• Excellent in producing decision documents and presentation material
Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks.
