hela Sverige Do you have extensive knowledge in business analytics, macroeconomics and Excel with former experience from strategic sourcing projects? Experis Engineering are looking for a Senior Business analyst in Category management for an consultancy assignment within the automotive industry in Gothenburg starting in late August until last December with the possibility of extension.
Work description
As a Business Analys your main responsibilities is to lead strategic sourcing sub projects aiming to reducing cost of purchased material. You will gather and analyze supplier market information and collect, structure and analyze data from different purchasing systems and databases, draw conclusions, question data and prepare and submit supplier RFI/RFQ.
You will also work with sourcing buyers to define strong sourcing strategies for main segments of purchased material and ensure good understanding within the purchasing team of the needs in the business. That means search and select the most competitive suppliers, define strong bid strategies, manage RFQ processes, develop negotiation strategy, prepare and conduct fact based negotiations
Your role as a Senior Business Analyst implies managing cross functional teams consisting of people from purchasing, product development, logistics, manufacturing and sales & marketing. You will train the buyers to develop their skills in advanced strategic sourcing including supply market analysis, should-cost modelling, spend analytics, category profiling, supplier assessments, supplier financial analysis, etc
Who are you?
To be successful as a Business Analyst in Category Management we believe that you have an University degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering with 3-5 years in business analytics. You have excellent skills in MS Excel (pivot, vlockup, marcros) Further you have good knowledge about macroeconomics, industry dynamics, customer demands and strategic sourcing.
A a person you have strong business focus and result orientation. You have former experience in project management and are well aware in managing teams globally.
