What's in it for you?
Business and Application Services (BAS); the division within Consumer & Enterprise Digital (CED) purposed to preserve, maintain and support Volvo Car Group's total application portfolio in the most effective, robust and secure way.
As our new Senior Business Analyst you will be a key link between business and IT and play a key role for the company's applications within Material and Manufacturing Planning & logistics Systems. You will act as a subject matter expert in early stages of new initiatives and participate as IT business analyst in projects. You will be responsible for translating new business requirements into adequate IT changes while securing that the changes fit our global footprint.

What you'll do
* Analyse, define, and formalize requirements to create functional design specifications that drive results and enable the business to achieve its goals
* Drive and facilitate workshops to understand and negotiate changes and implications on surrounding services and applications.
* Drive and coordinate small projects and special assignments within the domain.
* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their business and how current and future systems may improve business processes and productivity
We are operating in a global context where travelling might be required.
You and your skills
* Business Analyst experience within IT or Logistics
* University degree in IT/Engineering or experience from relevant field
* Documented experience from manufacturing industry and/or logistics
* Experience from leading projects or workshops
* Fluent in both Swedish and English, written as well as spoken
Meritorious:
* Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
* ITIL foundation certified
* Experience from IT governance

To succeed in this role you will have to be self-motivated and structured. You need to be self-propelled and driven but at the same time team oriented with a holistic approach and you thrive to work with tasks where there is a possibility to use your problem solving skills. You enjoy working in a global organization and like to take on special assignments outside your daily responsibilities. Also, since you have a passion for change and improvement you need to be strategic, analytical and structured to meet business goals and customer needs. This role requires that you get to learn the information flows through several applications all together serving business with a robust and efficient IT environment.
