hela Sverige NASDAQ is currently looking for a senior business analyst to join the CSD Solution Team within Nordic Technology Product Engineering as permanent employee.
Business Analysts CSD Solution team is part of the Nordic Technology Product Engineering and spread worldwide. The team is responsible for business requirements of our CSD (Central Securities Depository) Solution, a vital part of the financial markets' infrastructure.
As a business analyst you will act as the interface between the clients and the IT organization by translating business processes and needs into detailed functional requirements. As an expert within the field you will give qualified advice and suggest solution alternatives to our clients. In addition, you will ensure that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the clients' requirements. At NASDAQ you will work with highly motivated and skilled colleagues in an international and fast paced environment.
General responsibilities:
Design functional solutions to clients.
Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders.
Write and produce detailed functional specifications for others.
Coaches and/or leads others in the writing and production of detailed functional specifications.
Provide user training on new functionality and handle user queries regarding system functionality.
Write (or where appropriate guide/mentor others) operational and user documentation
Assist team in thinking of process re-design and improvements which would improve efficiency.
Identifies common business drivers and requirements at different customers. Communicates internally the business needs of the end users,
Identify industry change and capture feedback from clients to further provide input into Product Development initiatives internally.
Responsible for the product requirements of large deliveries to external customer, including extensive support to project management in discussions about the agreements, scope of delivery and planning of the project. Ensures that operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements.
Promote the organization's capabilities to clients and identify sales opportunities.
Prepare, lead and facilitate customer workshops/presentations.
Degree qualified in Business/Finance, Computer Science or related discipline
5-8 years of experience from a requirement analyst position or similar
Documented experience from client interfacing projects
Good knowledge about CSD business in general
Good understanding of industry related standards and regulations
Previous technical experience is an advantage
Excellent language skills in written and spoken English, additional languages is an advantage
