We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst with good business understanding and business acumen. The persons should have experience as a business analyst working on the border between IT and business units and preferably experience from the automotive business. The person must be able to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications. The person will also need to collaborate with other teams and functions to develop and maintain documented business requirements to be used throughout Volvo Cars. As a business analyst at SDA you will have excellent opportunities to work in a diversity of projects and programs with a wide variety of challenges at a high pace in a positive and global environment.
Main responsibilities
* Lead and perform pre-studies
* Lead the business analyst work in projects and programs including tailoring the BA approach and plan the requirements process
* Elicit, elaborate and communicate requirements
* Workshop facilitation of business modelling, requirements elicitation, information modelling etc.
* Lead prioritisation meetings of requirements based on aspects such as business value, technical risk etc.
* Manage requirements by documenting and organising requirements as well as keeping track of and controlling changes to both requirements and the project scope
* Identify requirement changes and assess impact of the change
* Establish and maintain requirements traceability
* Stakeholder management
* Stay up to date with industry trends and forecasts. Recommend modifications and/or new processes to maintain competitiveness in the industry
Required qualifications
* Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
* At least 5 years' experience within relevant field
* Profound knowledge in Business Analysis including requirements management
* Excellent knowledge of software delivery processes such as for example RUP, Agile/Scrum, or DITS
* Excellent skills in modelling business processes, conceptual information models, capturing non-functional requirements as well as use cases or epics and user stories
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Skilled in leading modelling seminar/workshops and to capture stakeholders' requirements
* The ability to use, understand and interpret the best practice, policies and procedures to ensure adherence and teach others

* Good business acumen and excellent communication skills
* Structured and analytical
* Has a structured way of working and documenting with ability to conceptualise, design, develop and apply business and specifications
* Ability to define specific solutions within an abstract environment
* Interest and drive to challenge traditional ways-of-working
* Willingness to travel
