• Key member of the baseband software architecture team. Design the baseband software architecture for wireless communications systems (LTE/LTE-A, UMTS, GSM?) on multi-core processor.
• Working closely with other baseband software architecture experts, software R&D and hardware team, the system architect team will research and define the single/multi-mode baseband software architecture which will be realized on different baseband processor. The work is carried out both as part of a team and independently
• The software architect will play a central role in defining and developing application notes, demos and reference design packages that highlight the baseband software architecture of multi-core systems.
• This individual will support the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviours: excellence and competence, collaboration, flexibility, innovation, respect, accountability and ownership.
Skills/Requirements:
• You should have a Ph.D. or M.Sc. with computer science, EE, wireless communication or equivalent as your specialty, and be used to analytical work. Work experiences in wireless communication industry research are required.
• Strong background in wireless communications is required. Especially, familiar with 3G and LTE/LTE-Advanced, and relevant advanced technologies. Good knowledge on PHY Layer so on;
• Should have 10+ years experience of digital communication systems experience and must have at least 5 years experience in DSP software development in C and implementation of baseband subsystems in multi-core processor, with system partitioning and architecture knowledge.
• Good people and leadership skills, excellent English written and oral communication. Ability to work with several cross-functional teams.
• Excellent capabilities on individual research, with team spirit;
