In this role, you will be expected to own and drive work in high-complexity features and recommend approaches to architectural decisions. You may take the lead on the design and delivery of a major initiative in your team. Your influence will sit mostly within the boundaries of their team, but you may provide feedback to proposals from teams yours collaborates with. You will work closely with a Tech Lead, who will be your direct manager, other engineers, designers and a product manager to deliver your team and company's goals.
You will join a team that is responsible for spend management features. They are the most critical ones for our product in 2024. The team currently owns services that integrate with other tools that our customers use and build a unified view of the information that otherwise is scattered across many sources. There is a lot to learn, and a lot to build and improve.
The right candidate can work independently, has an ownership mindset, and is open to feedback. They are capable of driving features independently throughout the entire feature lifecycle.
In this role you will:
Build and own features, from planning to delivery and maintenance.
Drive product monitoring, incident management, on-call support and customer support.
Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable backend oriented software.
Leading feature development with support from your team.
Constantly improve the architecture, codebases, and processes within the team
Help other teammates with things you excel at
