Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of the Hopsworks MLOps platform's backend infrastructure. You will work alongside a highly talented team of engineers to build and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable backend systems.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain the backend components of our MLOps platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize and scale existing backend services to meet growing demand.
• Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on Python and Java.
• Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
