Within our Web Team, Flightradar24 is looking for a professional and experienced Senior Backend Developer (PHP) to help design and build our next-gen B2B API product. You will work closely with a dedicated B2B Team to capture requirements from business stakeholders (Boeing, Thales, Lufthansa, easyJet and more) that have a huge appetite to work with our huge amount of data.
The position is open to candidates who will work at our hybrid office-remote workplace in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation is not offered for this role.
What you'll do
Collaborate with various B2B stakeholders to capture feature requirements and translate them to a scalable API-based solution
Work on a new code base based on Symfony 6 and PHP 8 deployed on AWS/ECS
Make use of automation with Jenkins and Terraform to improve the SDLC
Who you are
You have worked on multiple Symfony 5+/Laravel projects in production
You have a strong native PHP knowledge
You have built APIs and have used APIs in the past
You have experience with unit and e2e testing
You have experience using AWS services for production workloads
You have a passion for optimizing code and MySQL queries for performance and efficiency
